Misunderestimations

Howdy Gents!

It's been quite some time since I've posted but today felt like a good day to hop back in. I hope this finds you all well wherever you may be.

I've come to realize that I may have misunderestimated two things:

1)Just how long two pucks of vintage Colgate cup soap grated and packed down into an Old Spice mug would last. I have been hammering away at this thing for the better part of two months and I'm not sure that it has gone down 1/32 of an inch. I planned to finish this bugger before I go back to my 1lb block of Cella EEP. How long is THAT going to last??

And

2)How thick/dense/wiry my beard really is. I figured that because I didn't have a Homer Simpson-like shadow (like my Italian Dad) that my beard qualities were merely average or even light. Apparently those qualities have been masked (at least to me) my the lighter, reddish tinge (thanks to my Irish mother). I really started considering this more closely as I became more and more frustrated at how difficult a two-day shave was, even with a brand new 7:00 Green, esp around the upper lip/mouth/chin area. I have really tried to avoid pre-shave oil because it just seemed to me to be "one more thing". But, last week I used some Skin Food as a pre-shave on a two-day beard and VOILA! a much easier shave. Whodathunkit??

Time to hit up Bullgoose. Now, what can I throw in to get the free shipping...

Cheers!
