I recently acquired this Canadian Decolletee razor, one of those early women's razors that were part of the Milady introduction -- encouraging women to have smooth underarms. Wonder how much convincing they needed or if the husbands were actively encouraging their wives and girl friends to start shaving. In any case, what is the meaning of this wild boar on the exterior of the case?

The design continued to improve and the razor became more refined. Strange that no one made a brush just for the ladies, but the range and variety of safety razors for women is great.
