Merkur 11c - The Mild One

I bought this last October and was very disappointed as it was so mild. I put it on the back burner and I shaved with it again last week and was again disappointed!
It seems to take forever to get a half decent shave with lots of touch up and then I had to run a Fattip Grande to finish the job! My EJ DE89 is in fact more aggressive!
Does anyone else have that problem with the 11c? Is it the mildest open comb razor in the world or is it me?

I have a 25C and a 1904 open comb and they both have the same head, just different handles. I would venture to guess it is the same here as well. I absolutely love them.
