Well, It happened...I was cleaning my mergress and the blasted thing came apart on me. Now I have a 3 piece razor that probably lost all of its tweaking. I can't seem to get the adjustable stem (bottom piece) to fit back into the handle. So now I have one less razor. Anyone got any advice? Has this happened to anyone else with a Mergress? I am afraid to hammer the bottom back into the stem. I don't want to damage it.
Update: I got it back together. There is a collar that has to be squeezed along the stem....this is supposed to keep the razor together...which in my case ... did not!
How does the black dot correspond to the adjustment dial when tightened down? I want to make sure I callibrated it correctly. When tightened down with a blade in the razor, it is supposed to be on the 1 right?
