"Mercurio" Straight?

So I found a listing on Ebay advertising a vintage, c. 1920's straight razor from a Solingen company named "Mercurio." However, I looked at the logo stamped on the blade, and found that it is the same as the current Merkur Logo. Is this essentially a Merkur straight from the time before safety razors? What exactly is the company history there? Let me know what you think:

I think I like the idea of owning a Merkur straight. It's so weird that I like it. I've only recently picked up DE shaving, so my madness hasn't progressed to straights yet, but I'm thinking it will...eventually.

So the other question would be "With the condition that this is in (nicks and notches on the blade), is this worth restoring (or having restored)?"

On the off chance that I've stumbled onto something spectactular (which I'm not really sure that I have), I'm trusting you guys not to buy this out from under me. I really would just like your feedback and thoughts.

Thanks,

Could be something like Merkur 10, but the k wasnt stamped properly so it looks like a c.

Yeah, its worth restoring, any ebay razor needs a new bevel anyway, this one just needs a bit of grinding to get rid of the chips.
