Hi everyone,
I'd like to introduce you a shaving soap that i discovered a few months ago. A french one.
It strongly smells mint (like an "Pastille de Vichy" a mentholated sweet) absolutly marvelous (if you like mint..)
It easily makes an very good/thick lather, (better than Tabac Soap IMOHO) very protective, which last for a long time.
It gives you a sweet cooling effect on the face.
at bottom
Ingredients are:
potassium palmate, sodium palmate, potassium stearate, potassium palm kernalate, glycerin, aqua, asinae lac, butyrospernum parkii butter, mentha arvensis oil, palm kernel acid, limonene, linalol.
+ 10% of donkey milk
Shape is not very practical, (square base???) but it's a mid-hard soap and can easily be transfered into a round can.
I don't know if the maker/seller sells overseas but, just in case, here's the link to his store: http://www.savonneriedubonberger.com/crbst_1.html (looks for these french words : savon à barbe) it cost a cheap 7 (something like 9 US $) for 100g (3.5 oz)
I'm in no ways affiliated with this guy and i have nothing to gain, but everyone (from a french traditional shaving forum) who tried his soap likes it.
So, if you have a chance to try one of these, lets go !
And i'm sorry, i can't compare it to Martin de Candre because i've never tried it...
