Today is my birthday.

In the mail today, I received my self imposed birthday gift from HisNibs.com...a Monteverde Regatta fountain pen with magnetic closure and 1.1 stub nib. I have him loaded with Diamine Presidential Blue ink:

It looks larger in the pic. It weighs the same as my B&B FC pen. The magnet works when both closing the pen and posting the pen. It's a very cool feature.

I'm fairly new to stub nibs. I have one on my Nemosine pen and of course this one. I find this stub to be more of a truer stub.

I'm fairly new to stub nibs. I have one on my Nemosine pen and of course this one. I find this stub to be more of a truer stub.

Correction: My Nemosine had a medium italic nib. I hated it and went to a fine nib. My B&B FC pen now has a medium stub. And of course, my Monteverde Regatta has a 1.1 stub.
