Does anyone know were to get paint to match a gillette red tip?

I don't know where you would buy it where you're located, but the matching color is International Harvester Red made by Krylon. Maybe auto supply places or hardware stores.

Nail polish comes in every shade of red under the sun. Would that work?

There is a Krylon paint that is generally considered to be a dead-ringer for the red in a Red Tip - International Harvester Red.

I did mine in some maker's "Colonial Red" and it's fine for me, I plan on keeping it so don't care if potential buyers might be put off.

Haven't heard of a match for Blue Tips, though.

I check to see if there is a local hobbies store. The model paints come in a wide variety of hues for each color.

Krylon spray paint. Topgumby posted a while back about repainting with Krylon--worked like a charm.

Resurrecting another old thread from the grave.....

Another good match for the red tip seems to be Rustoleum Satin Claret Wine. I can't find the Krylon stuff anywhere near me. But the Rustoleum is at my local Home Depot.

The "I'd Lather Be Shaving" YouTube show, episode 1 talks about repainting a red tip.
