Matching Bowl?

I was wondering if it helps to mill a soap into the bowl that is made for that soap puck. For example, i got a D.R. Harris soap with a wooden bowl. The puck does not come attached to the bottom of the bowl and can be easily removed. Should i go through the trouble of grating the soap, and pressing it into the bowl?

I wouldn't. After the first time you use it, it will stick to the bottom of the bowl of its own accord. If you want to get it stuck before hand, just run some hot water over it and let it dry in the bowl. Never fear -- it'll stay put.
