Gents I just ordered a duke 3 butterscotch in manchurian. Can any of you tell what I can expect with that type of hair. May other Simpsons are in best.

Mine is like the nicest two band hair you could hope for if you got a regular Simpson two band super, but at twice the price. It has some of the thickest two band hair I have found, though that only amounts to slightly more backbone than my two band super.

I have the same one,it takes about 2 dozen shaves to break in the knot.Really a fantastic brush,glad I got mine before the price increase.

I had the exact brush and only sold it because I felt the handle was shorter than I'd prefer. It's a gorgeous brush with a touch of comfortable scritch - not prickly - just a bit of coarseness to the hair tips that gives it a pleasant bit of scrub. Its character is totally unique in my experience.
