mama bears boar brush

I'm interested in this brush because not only does it look good, Its made in the united states.
I Wondered if anyone has ever tried it, and if so please answer the following questions:
1. Does It Shed Frequently Or Does it shed like a normal brush?

2. how does the wooden handle hold up? does some of the finishing come off when it gets wet?

I like the way it looks also, and I've been wanting to order some Mama bear samples. No idea on performance though.
