I haven't tried the face tonic, but I do have both the Aspen and Bay Rum aftershaves. Aspen is very nice and smells nothing like a typical blue aftershave. It's more herbal with a dash of spice. LT Bay Rum is pleasant enough, but very fleeting and really doesn't smell like a Bay Rum at all. Both are alcohol based, unlike the face tonic.
It smells like oranges. Not a bad thing, but that's pretty much all I smell.
Are you talking about the After Shave & Face Tonic? Because they have two other, more traditional aftershaves, Bay Rum and Aspen. I'm a big fan of the After Shave & Face Tonic because while its a splash, it has no alcohol in it (I'm not a fan of alcohol-based products...for my skin). It has an orange citrus scent and contains lots of good ingredients for the face. I particularly enjoy using it during the summer.

I love it! The After Shave & Face Tonic, that is. It says "citrus" scent, but it's all orange to me. The scent doesn't last long, but it really makes my face feel great. It's alcohol free (as many have stated), so there's no burn.

Great citrusy smell. It leaves my skin feeling a bit tacky, though. Not as much as Musgo Real, but still enough that I gave it away. It should be stated that generally I do prefer alcohol based AS
Very clean. Citrusy. Thin. Unfortunately, scent doesn't last long. Not sticky or leave any residue. Minimal burn.
Wish it burned, and lasted longer. Also, oddly enough, smells way better transferred and stored in a glass bottle than in the plastic container it comes in. Couldn't tell you why.

Seriuosly, though, this is a top notch product IMO. I much prefer splashes over balms, and for those who do not like the alcohol splashes, this is a must try. I do not find any of the sticky sensation that I fell after Musgo, though.
I do not know why either, but I will not buy any A.S. in plastic anymore. Glass=class.

I love the tonic after a burner of a shave. Really soothes the burn and the tonic as well as the scent dissipates if you want to apply an AS.
I have the cooling menthol vanishing cream. Its kinda like Proraso or Prep pre shave creams. Very cooling with the menthol in it. Its a REALLY good bargain. The container is HUGE! Check it out
Have and use the AS/FT really like it especially if you have a rough shave and makes my face feel great.
I've heard it has an orange scent to it and feels nice. The smell, although pleasant, doesn't linger. Which is great for those days you want to wear cologne. Also, I sometimes shave at night, before bed, and it will be nice not to go to bed with the overwhelming Pinaud smell.

Ok guys I recieved my Lucky Tiger after shave and face tonic and had the opportunity to try it out last night.
Because it is alcohol free, it didn't have the potent sting other AS's have. The smell is pleasant if you like orange-y scents. It smells a lot like the orange industrial strength hand soaps you often find in factories or production facilities (Go-Jo) However, the scent dissipates quickly... within a minute or two.
I am happy with my purchase. The label is suitably vintage looking and my face felt great afterwards. Definitely my new go to AS when I want to showcase a specific cologne or before bed.
