Given that many other shaving soaps have their own dedicated fan base, I thought it only fitting that those of us who use and love the soaps, creams, and croaps from Ginger's Garden have our own fan club.

Please feel free to include pictures of your soaps, etc. from Ginger's Garden, as well as listing your favorites that may be camera-shy at the time of your posting.

For myself, I'm a jasmine nut, so a "coffee jasmine" glycerin soap is my current Ginger's Garden soap of choice.

I have seen very little information on these soaps/creams aside from an old post where I think the soap was pretty good but the cream didn't get very high marks. 1 person only.

I'm curious as I'd like to expand my artisan soap vendor list more than "Mike's" where I can get different essential oils, especially citrusy and tropical stuff.

I'm expanding my Ginger's Garden collection with an Oak Moss selection, and a Grapefruit Mint, both as glycerin soaps in a jar. I'll report on my findings with them.

Maiden voyage for the Oak Moss this morning. I'm not entirely dialed in on the right water/soap ratio for it - as is to be expected for the first run - and may need to bowl-lather it in future until I get that worked out. The scent is very green and woodsy, reminiscent of Xeryus cologne's base, for those familiar with this 80's powerhouse.

Her aftershave is quit good.

I tried out the Grapefruit Mint on Monday. It's a very bracing scent, with a bit of mint chill but not an excess of it. I suspect it's a thirstier soap than I gave it credit for being, as the lather looked good but dried out a couple of times. I won't give up on it, though.
