What's new

Looking for Something a little specific

I have a Stubby 2 LOVE IT, however with its dense short loft it ain't so good with the creams.

I have a B&BE brush... love it, however it is just too scritchy.

I need something as good with the creams as my B&BE but as amazingly soft as my Heritage hair in my Rooney Stubby. All at the same time, in the same brush.

BTW: I do not like floppy brushes!

What am I looking for guys? Savile Row 3824? Is there Another Rooney Heritage with a taller loft? I am open to some suggestions here.

3824 for sure. There was a mint one on BST earlier today. I have one and it is fast becoming my favorite. I also own a custom D01 and the 3824 works better for me.

Rooney Heritage "Victorian" ???
You don't see too many of those around... You would certainly most likely be the first Georgia resident to own one. That "turned beauty" is one of the only Rooney brushes Id personally consider... Remember when the Emillions were all the rage? Not much on them lately. (as I wrote in a recent thread there are distinct trends in brush popularity on B&B... Right now Custom/Restore/Higher end Boar/ Simpsons are the trend. We will get it back around to other ones soon enough. Buy the Victorian, Be Bold. Be different!

I want the softness, however the loft needs to be taller (I think) seeing I still fancy the density. The loft on the Victorian is about the same as on the Stubby/Emillion. Maybe a 55mm? I got my soft dense 48mm.

I am looking into Thater right now.
