Looking for some cigar suggestions for the noses of my neighbors

Do you guys have any suggestions for a few cigars that, in a pinch, I can still have an evening smoke but that "other people" won't find so abusive to their sense of smell.
Generally speaking (and I don't know why) but what I generally enjoy smoking, I am told smell pretty bad to other people.

I'm looking for a suggestion or two so that if I'm at a family Barbecue or gathering of some kind, I can have a cigar but not run off the crowd.

Anyone have some suggestions?

Black and Milds? If you can reduce yourself to smoking those, is it really worth it? Perhaps the pipe would be the way to go.

That's a tough one...usually my wife rates most cigars in 2 categories: Bad, or Not Quite as Bad. Maybe look at something like CAO Flavours or Acid?

Have you tried Thompson Brittany Panatella Pipe Tobacco (Rum Flavor) Cigars?

I had purcahsed a Sampler (5 cigars), from them (I couldn't find the Sampler on their website...but you can called them just the same).

Here's my short Reveiw of this cigar;

My Rating: 4 stars (Very Good)

Pros: Easy To Light, Good Draw, Very Good Flavor, Good Aroma

Cons: Wrapper Imperfections, Too small of a format

Best Uses: Great around guests, Indoors/Outdoors, Everyday, Special Occasions, Events

Remarks: A great little cigar with a cool pipe tobacco scent that won't scare away your guests and/or neighbors...too bad this cigar is in a Panatella format.

Some smell worse than others, but I think all smell bad to people who don't like them. Now that I only smoke a pipe, my old man's cigars smell pretty bad now. Its tolerable to me, but it permeates the whole house, despite the fact he is outside.

Thanks for some great advice guys.
Yes, I'm not looking to replace my favorites, just looking for a compromise when I have folks over or are at a location where I can try to be accommodating to other people and still have a smoke.

Drew Estates makes some good flavored cigars in their Acid line, and the room notes are quite nice. I personally don't care for "flavored" cigars, but they have a coffee infused cigar that's pretty good.

This is probably your best bet if you want to smoke something that resembles a real cigar. I'm not a huge fan of flavoreds either but have tried the Kuba Kuba (I think that's the name) from their Acid line and a couple of others that were mixed with different coffee flavors (probably similar to what rickcharles606 mentioned). FWIW my wife told me that they (and consequentially me) smelled less pungent than normal...

Bottom line - a good cigar is gonna stink and it's gonna stink good

Yeah, I'm not fond of the "flavored cigars" in general, and of the Acid brand I've tried in particular.

Moreover, I don't really want to put any flavored smokes in my Humidor and contaminate my other selections.

I appreciate everyones suggestions, and I guess I'll just keep looking for something with a milder smoke aroma for those few times when I'm concerned about potentially smoking someone out.

I picked up some of these for a BBQ recently, and they were pretty popular, even with the non-cigar smokers. That may have been in part the 'Cuban' mystique, but it worked. They're not bad, and I don't mind smoking up the ones that were left over.

Here's a thought 'outside the box'...when I don't have the time to enjoy a cigar (indoor/outdoor, at work, lunch, work breaks, picnics, quests and other events won't scare away ther guests and/or neighbors ect...), I enjoy Nat Shermans Havana Ovals (a 4in brown maduro paper, non-filtered and robust cigarillo /small cigar). :yesnod:

That's kind of you, and I appreciate the offer, I'll look to see if they have some in my local shops.
I'm blessed with having several sizeable shops near me.

Not sure if that will work. I picture myself getting the dirty looks from the "he's smoking a stinky cigar" crowd AND the dirty looks from the "he's smoking a nasty cigarette" crowd.
