Looking for Lime

Any recommendations on lime scents? Appreciate input on both aftershaves, as well as cologne. I've been looking around, it seems lime is most often mixed with bay rum, or coconut and such. Looking for something lite for summer, but maybe occasionally stronger than a typical aftershave, as an option.

Saint Charles Shave makes a nice single note lime aftershave "Extract of Limes" which is great. The also offer a Mediterranean Citrus if you want to branch out a bit.

A note on lime colognes. It is my experience that lime scented colognes have very short-lived on my body. You might want to gather as many samples as you can get in order to find one that works best for you.

Check out Royall Lyme...it is a great lime scent.

I got SCS and it is a staple around here. Not quite single note in the splash but close as anything you'll find.

Lime and all citrus is by nature fleeting, so don't expect them to hang around.

Castle Forbes makes a very good(alcolol free) Lime aftershave balm that has a genuine lime scent. Truefitt+Hill has a West Indian Limes aftershave which is also very good and also alcohol free. As someone already stated however,most,if not all,lime and citrus scents are very 'fleeting' and just don't last long. But I love the lime scent so much,I don't care if I have to reapply it several Xs in a day. Try one of the above,I think you'll like them.

I just bought some Ogallala bay rum lime and peppercorn aftershave that is fantastic. I also got some Mikes lime soap and it smells just like a green lollipop that you would get from your barber or bank when you were a child.

...after years of wearing Clubman Special Reserve (SR), I've finally tried Clubman Citrus Musk and I was (and am), very surprised and intrigued. The cool and surprisingly fresh clean citrus scent has such a fragrance that instantly cools, tones & refreshes my face and body and is a exhilarating freshener after my morning shaving ritual and shower. A little goes a long, long way with hints of lemons, limes and musk but not too overpowering that 'lingers' through most of the day...plus the Mrs. loves it in place of the SR I've been wearing 'since time began' (and now my one & only go-to aftershave/cologne)!!!
