Looking for a feather Japanese Straight Razor stand

Does anyone have any suggestions for a stand for a feather non-folding straight?

This one came with my Brian Brown. The SS I sold fit quite nicely.

You can go simple - it works fine. I put a couple of pads on the bottom to prevent the wood from wicking/holding any moisture from the sink top:

Ok, I like all of those options. Now I just need to get the work in. How wide did you guys make the notch for the blade?

This could be an option (when they get back in stock), not for display, but it would keep the blade safe.

Around 5/32 for mine. You have a little leeway - the razor will snuggle in pretty easily. Probably anything over an 1/8 to <= 3/16.
