If you're able to give some thoughts as to what notes are in the fragrance or what other colognes are similar you'll get a handful of options.

i do know that Eddie Bauer changes thier frags, and not perhaps for the better.

Anyway, sorry for the terse initial response scribble, and I apologize if I seemed brusque in anyway!

Yes, absolutely, welcome to B&B, and thanks for posting. I really do not know why Eddie Bauer Pure for Men has not come up around here previously, or why I did not seem to have any knowledge of it previously. I take a certain amount of pride, as I am sure do other members hanging around here, in knowing about the most obscure, esoteric, all but completely unknown scents of intense interest to, say, as many as one or two of us. Yet "we" or at least "I" seem to have let a major cult scent sneak by completely under the radar, without so much as a tip of the hat! I frankly fear for this forum's reputation! Our, or again, at least my, nerd status my even be in jeoprady!

I say cult item because of the prices this stuff is going for on EBay, and the fact that all of the usual discounter types are listing the frag, but say they are sold out. And the number of folks on the net saying how much they love this stuff and seeking it out. How did I miss this?

That said I really could not find any sniffying notes on it. One person writing on Amazon under Burberry Summer for Men, says that that scent a lot like the discontinued Eddie Bauer Pure for Men. But I do not know that scent either. Someone on basenotes.com, a place where I would expect a lot of information on a scent like this, but there is little, says that Pure for Men is like Lauder's Pleasure for men. Yet another scent I do not know! Here is a link to comments on that scent, though.
