Looking for a citrus style Aftershave

What I'm looking for is a lemon, lime or maybe orange scent aftershave that people here use and recommend. Nothing that lasts all day or is overly strong but a nice light scent. Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

I enjoy the Saint Charles Shave Mediterranean Cirtus, but it does have a decent staying power (few hours) depending on what you're after. The scent is great, and it makes my skin feel great too.

Taylor Shave Shop is a great citrus/lemon. Taylor #74 Victorian Lime is SUPERB also but has quite a bit more staying power than a "brighter" citrus only type scent. It has better heart and base notes than a normal eau de cologne. I love it.

Sanborns Orange Blossom. I like this. Nice clean scent. Shown as a cologne, but use it as a AS too. . Kind of stumbled upon it. Bought some at a Walgreen's where they stock Pinoud, Masters, and Superior 70 bay rums as well as the usual suspects in the AS aisle. Hispanic neighborhood/area, if that helps.

Now I check out Amazon and find out that-what hey!-I may be wearing the 21st century version of Hai Karate. Check out this review from amazon...The bottle, which is about eight inches tall, is a heavy glass container. A product from Mexico. Three ingredients - alcohol, fragrance, and Pentadecalactone, which is a chemical produced by the armpit of the male human, and, apparently, gives off a sex scent that women find irresistible. This fact may come as a surprise to any man who has tried to make conversation with a woman when he has visible pit stains, but apparently the science of the male armpit pheromone is established enough, at least in grooming circles, that many colognes use a chemically simulated pentadecalactone in their product. And how does Sanborns Orange Blossom Cologne smell? Well, not like armpit, thank goodness. But not like orange blossoms either. Mostly, it smells like musk. There are some orange undertones, but mostly it just smells like one expects the stomach of a stag might, especially if that deer had rolled around in old orange peels. And then gotten drunk on rubbing alcohol. It's a woodsy, powdery smell with a very strong hint of alcohol.

Wow, some endorsement. YMMV is the watchword. But for $5...

How about Caswell Massey No. 6? It's an old, classic scent that I stumbled across a few years ago. It's light, crisp and I enjoy wearing it in the summer. No. 6 was also quite a favorite of George Washington, so it has a good story if a woman happens to comment on it.

I use Florida water mixed with WH. 60/40 mix. Florida water has a subtle citrus smell to it and not too overpowering, especially with the WH mix. Cheers!

Pinaub Citrus is amazing!!!!! Works wonder on the skin, such a fresh/clean/fruity great smell! You can go on their web-site and get a sample for like $2! Try it out!!

Lucky Tiger Aftershave & Face Tonic is a nice light citrus scented product.
It is a very light non-alcohol formula.
Lucky Tiger contains face friendly ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Calendula, and Chamomile.

Worth checking out :thumbup1:

Wow.......you guys have given me some interesting AS to try. Especially the Sanborn stuff, although I don't care too much for musk type smells....I still might give it a try. I also will head over to the aftershave review section on this site and see what others have said about these. Lots more research is in order I think, but thats half the fun. Keep the suggestions coming!

You just can't get information like this anywhere else! That review is almost as good as the "three wolves shirt" review that gets posted from time to time. Seriously, this is one of those things that comes down to this; if you don't like it you can always scent the toilet bowl water with it! I gotta try it.

Here's another recommendation for Lucky Tiger, although the scent is a virtual afterthought, as it is so light that it will be gone in a matter of minutes. Same goes for Trumper Limes skin food. On the opposite end of the skin-friendly spectrum, Trumper Lime a/s splash offers one of the greatest blasts of fresh lime available, just as it offers one of the most skin-burning blasts of high alcohol. If you can tolerate that sort of thing, check it out.

And you can buy a 500ml refill bottle at a reasonable price.

Try SPEICK Lotion. It has a very pleasent scent. It has some citrus scent. Oranges to be more accurate. :)
I think it lists on the box it has some orange blossom thing essential oil. Not sure, but I've read mentioning some orange oil. Check it out ;)
