L'Occitane cade cream

As with others on this forum I find myself disappointed with the L'Occitane cade cream (as opposed to the soap). Is there anything that can be added to it to improve it?

I just used the soap and was again thrilled with it. It doesnt get used as much since my rotation is quite large now. Maybe try a super lather with the soap to improve the creams performance. Or mix it with another soap.

Gravity, for about 0.1 second. And then, some time later, it makes itself useful in the form of heat, steam and electricity, in that order.

The CADE shave soap is fantastic. I occasionally use the cream together with the soap to make a superlather, but rarely if ever do I use the cream by itself.

You have to use more of this cream than you may be used to. It is one of my favorites. If you are looking to get rid of it I will properly dispose of it for you.

Hi all.

I just bought the CADE cream, aftershave splash and balm this past Sunday.
I used the cream and splash this morning. No issues at all and I really like the scent. Is there a CADE cologne?
I wanted to buy the soap but the store was sold out.

I'm sure you will be happy -- they are all great products. The only reason I don't use the SC more often is because the SS is so good, and I am primarily a soap user. I have no idea why some people have an issue with the SC.

The Eau de BAUX is a good complementary EdC and the BAUX ASB is pretty excellent as well. I don't think there is a CADE EdC.

Do get yourself a cake of the soap when it is back in stock. It is the only non-tallow soap I use, and it is, IMHO, absolutely superb.

I was in a l'Occitane shop in Paris last year and wanted to buy the shaving cream but SWMBO told me to buy the ASB instead.
The ASB is superb.
After reading reviews, I'm glad I didn't bother with the shaving cream...

I have a travel tube and have not had much success with it.

To the guys that do, what are your lathering techniques for it? Is it simply to use more than what you are used to or is there other details that need to be done?

My tricks echo those others have already mentioned: 1) superlather it, 2) use a ton of it. I really wanted it to work, but at it's cost/performance ratio, I won't be buying it again.

The soap and ASB, on the other hand, are wonderful!
