linder razors?

wondered if anyone has tried out the linder straights. have several linder hunting knives that are excellent. if you have used them, how do they compare to the dovo products?

Is this the razor branded as "Razorlution", a product of Simbatec/ Giesen & Forsthoff, and said to be made in Solingen, Germany?

Interesting enough, the "Solingen, Germany" is just printed on the tang, and not engraved into it as one would expect it to be.

If so, these razors are also branded as Timor, and straight up Giesen & Forsthoff.

I purchased one of the ones branded Razorlution off of a seller on Ebay (starshavingsupplies). It had a horrific uneven grind, that would never have passed inspection from any competent honemiester/ razor maker. I refused to accept this level of quality, and returned it for a refund.

Giesen & Forsthoff vintage razors are consider to be top quality, but I have heard nothing good about the current production.

Actually let me clarify, other than my own negative experience, experiences with these razors seem to be pretty unknown. A few people saying the quality was bad, and a couple of people who tried to hone one and found it wouldn't take an edge.

The fact that there is a current production straight razor (supposedly made in Solingen), and there are very few reviews is a very very bad sign.

Also, the fact that the tang simply has "Solingen, Germany" printed on it (with what looks like ink that will quickly wear off) instead of having this stamped into the razor also doesn't point to a high quality item.
