Lime witchazel

Let me start off here by saying that I have very poor selection locally for aftershaves or colognes, so I order online-kind of blindly and see if I like them when I get them. I will be ordering from Garry's Sample Shop when he gets back from vacation. That said-I am on a lime kick! Stopped by a natural food store today, and noticed they had some Lime scented essential oils. After I got home I got to thinking why not buy a bottle of generic witch hazel at the dollar store and add some of the Lime oil to it for fragrance? Good idea? Any thoughts?

Why not? It is cheap enough to try. If you want to copy the big boys, get some Lavender EO and use generic WH. For about $2.50 a bottle, you can equal the $10 version.

I've put colognes and after shaves in alcohol and witch hazel before - depends on what you like. I am particularly fond of Canoe (or Pinaud Clubman) in alcohol for an alcohol splash. Just a small amount is all that is needed.

Go easy with some of the EOs - they are quite powerful and will end up being too strong for a splash. Put in a small amount and try it as you go.
