Letters that you dislike?

Does anyone have any letters that they dislike writing in cursive? For the most part, the ones that I dislike tend to be capitals, "F", "G", "I", "Q", "b", and sometimes "t". My dislike for them stems from the fact that I don't like how they look when I write them. I think that I need to find alternative ways of writing some of the capital letters. The "t" is simple, but very rarely do I like how mine looks.

I use to make out the score boards for the golf tournaments at the course i worked at. J for some reason was a pain for me.

Well now that i reread you post I see you said cursive. It wasn't so much cursive on the score board as my own style of print. My J's just always looked wrong to me.

I seriously dislike my capital D, G, Q, S, and Z. I tend to print those, and a few others. I've also had trouble for years making a decent lower-case r. I can never add that little bump / tail on the top without ruining the flow of the whole letter. On the other hand, I've always liked my C, F, I, L, and R.

Wow, I feel like I just told my kids which one of them was the favorite.

I have the same issue with my printed J's. I print at work. I also work with a lot of Jo(h)ns and Jasons, you'd think I'd figure it out.

Ж ж .. really hate it :D .. bad design I guess haha for cursive its like doing two "S" and one "I" between them .. about 5 strokes up/down.

I don't like my capital S, I, W, Z. That really about covers it. I guess I dislike less than some others on here do.

the upper and lower p's bug me... but usually its letter combos that drive me nuts such as o's into r's or or b into e be stuff like that

Realistically, I don't particularly like my S either, but it's the first letter of my last name and one of the few cursive letters that I didn't stop using when I got into high school, so I'm just used to it.

H for me...which sucks because my last name starts that same letter!!!

H and K are two that I've gotten to the point of liking, but they used to not be so great. k is another that I don't like, it always comes out looking like an h.

Capitals G's, lower-case F's and B's, which look the same for me. And of course, lower case Z (or Zed for you crazy canucks!)

There was a point quite a few years ago when I had gotten into the habit of printing some capitals when writing cursive, Q, Z, X, and I as I recall. I downloaded some style sheets and relearned the proper forms, or at least the forms that I'd learned in grade school. It seems to me that all the cursive forms have the potential to be more pleasing to the eye than the printed ones. I don't know how far my own writing lives up to that potential, but I like to give it my best shot.

Of course, I so seldom need to use a capital X that it's easy to get out of practice. Maybe I ought to do exercises at least once a week, "Xerxes played his Xylophone in Xanadu", 50 times.:001_smile

Capital Q and Z for me. I don't quite get either of them, because I try to make them into a capital L or the number 2. My capital E never looks right either.

I've always hated the capital Q. It looks like a 2. I always just used a print Q. I don't like the Z, either. Good thing those two are rarely used, especially as capitals.

Lower case s. I like the way it looks when done properly. Sometimes I get it right, most times it looks like I just made a moundish/oval looking thing. It gets particularly hard when I have to spell out Mississippi. I'm not that big of a fan of double m's either.

Lowercase "o" to a lot of letters doesn't often work out well for me, especially "r". I don't like my capital "G" and "S."
