It's not a romance yet, just an infatuation, but it has all the characteristics of a romance.

For years I have been loyal to my Merkur Progress. Sure, I had occasional dalliances with a sleek, hot open comb, or a seductive slim adjustable but for the most part I was loyal and true.

Until this morning.

The Merkur Vision and I have an infatuation. Yes, I have read all the knocks about how mean it can be and how unwieldy but, for me, that was not the case.

I began with a fairly low setting, about 30% for my initial WTG pass and I immediately moved more aggressive two clicks. It was wonderful from that moment on. Best S* I ever had.

Later I looked at my Progress and felt a little guilt, but I continued on certain that the Vision and I would do it again and again and again.

Maybe guys are just dogs.

Too bad they don't seem to make a slant bar Progress. Crank that puppy up and do a one pass shave. Put a Feather in it and you wouldn't even have to touch your face with it to get BBS. It would scare the stubble into submission.
