For sale is a cased French Leresche #51 razor in excellent condition. As can be seen the case is lovely aside from some external water staining which could be easily remedied by someone with experience in restoration. Some coloured leather stain would likely return the case exterior to excellent condition should the owner decide to so do.
The razor itself is in very fine condition with wonderful crisp plating aside from some minor plate damage on the underside of the cap as shown in the images, this is not visible during use and the razor presents perfectly. It is possible that the razor has at some time been replated since there of virtually no sign of wear but I cannot confirm that.
I am not sure of the exact age of this razor but I think it is an early model between 1937 and 1950 according to the website maintained by @Cha-Wing Les Rasoirs de Sureté Leresche à Vis Longue - https://ossbrocante.wixsite.com/lereschearchive/rasoirs-leresche-vis-longue
