I told all my friends that I thought Phil would win the Masters today. After that shot on the 13th from the woods, it's a done deal. I've always respected his ability, but he's got more guts than me. With the lead, to take that shot is incredible. Color me a Mickelson fan

Yeah. He's a great story, and I hope he's as great a guy as he seems to be. I find it really unnerving that he's among the least popular guys on the tour with the players though (tied for second least popular). I don't understand that

I didnt believe he was going to win today but he showed some guts i never thought he had!
I never thought he is that impopular amongst the PGA-players either.
He look rather harmless,dont he?

He should have nailed the putt for eagle, though.

Oh I agree. I thought he was going to nail that putt. In fact, this thread was started before he whiffed on it

I like the fact that Tiger hasn't been winning as many majors recently. I like to watch a competitive tournament where the winner isn't almost certain.

There are so many golfers out there today that I don't think fear Tiger. They have no problems going toe to toe with him.
