In theory, these could be ground for lefthand use, although it seems to be pretty uncommon in practice. Anyone seen one? Anyone have one?

Not sure how it is nowadays but historically lefthandedness was not acceptable in Japanese culture so everyone was trained right handed.
yes, there are left handed kamisoris. I have seen pictures of them but haven't saved any to share.
Thinking about it, the seller had explicitly mentioned it as rare item, left handed.
Things must have changed in Japan. When the kids were younger I got them some training chopstick from Rakuten Japan, plastic ones, that were specifically made for right or left handed kids. One of my boys is left handed. They worked pretty well I must say.

For me, it's less about handedness and more about my whisker growth and the direction/ orientation of my most critical passes.
