Has anyone tried the brush knot and blank handle from Lee Valley? It is a badger knot, but I don't know of what quality. Any thoughts? The kit is less then $10, but you need a lathe to turn the handle.

I've bought a knot. They are a very basic black badger. Not a great black badger by any stretch, but ok. I use them sometimes in a handle as a giveaway to a newbie... gets them started
