Lea Stick

Anyone else notice that the Lea shave stick smells like Comet (the cleaning product)? I don't hate the scent but I certainly didn't expect it to smell this way.

First shave with the Lea stick this morning. It's a solid performer and the scent isn't as strong when lathered. I could see the scent growing on me. It just caught me off guard because it didn't smell like I was expecting it to based the descriptions I've heard.

I wonder if the stick smells like the cream? I've been using the cream for a few days now and the smell doesn't have a comet scent.

It's hard to explain but it's like a Irish spring clean kinda scent.

I really enjoy it.

The stick scent is completely different than the cream, which as far as creams go, I like a lot. The stick smells of comet as noted above. Disappointed. I haven't been able to force myself to get past that to try it yet but this week Ill make it happen.

The new LEA is in my top 4 sticks. Incredible lather with little to no effort and very VERY light next to no scent.

I just went on a shave stick acquisition binge and Lea was one I purchased. I read somewhere that it performs like MWF in stick form. I haven't tried it yet, but it is next in the rotation. The scent is pretty mild to my nose. I'm anxious to see how it performs.

I like the scent, and completely agree that it's a soap worth getting past the scent even for those that don't. I had been trying to think of what it reminded me of, and comet is a pretty accurate match.

The new formula is much better than the previous one. On an equal par with La Toja except La Toja to me has a sandalwood type scent is as best as I can describe. I like them both.

That's good to know. I've heard way too many stories of soaps losing quality when reformulated.
