Le Grelot Hospital

hey,

i've recently bought 2 le grelots, for very low price.

this one

and this one

both razors are fantastic shavers. could someone tell me if the razors are historic ones?

Congrats, those are both really nice looking blades!!

All hospital le grelots are historic or vintage. The newer ones will say Thiers Issard on the tang.

Nice ones! I just scored another Le Grelot from Ebay France today that has a thumb notch like those seen on the MK31's (thumb notch with that little spike thing next to it on the tang next to the shoulder).

I really want to get a TI Le Grelot to compare, but when I know I can get 3-4 vintage LE Grelot's for the price of the new TI one it is hard to justify. Someday though....
