I can see where she's coming from, but that was a bit excessive. That's probably the last time he does that, though.
My wife is Greek extraction - she can be hot tempered at times but fortunately never anything like this. I suppose it might be slightly less painful than waxing.
Anyone else have "The Christmas Song" stuck in their head now?
My wife is also a Greek (Kefalonian, not Cretan) but still not one to be toyed with (no pun intended)

"Hot nuts"?
Now the use of the word "nuts" for testes is interesting.
The Oxford English Dictionary references an old English term for the glans penis: "the nut of a man's yard". A "yard" is a shaft - as in "yard of ale".

The "nut" is clearly the end of the said yard. In those days a man had only one nut but two "stones."
All very confusing! Cooked or uncooked.
