L and M Florida Water-mentholated, anybody try it?

I have turbocharged all my aftershaves with menthol crystals except my L and M. This stuff has the most burn of anything I use and I'm wondering how adding some menthol crystals would be. I know I could just do it and experiment, but I'm curious about others' experiences with homemade mentholated L and M Florida Water.
