I've recently been introduced to Knize Ten and plan to pick up a bottle. In searching, I've found a Gold Edition of Ten. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth the few extra dollars over the regular Knize?

I found the gold edition in Germany over the past summer. I sprayed one arm with it and then came back the next and tried regular Knize Ten. I ended up purchasing Knize Ten. Gold edition is more of a pure leather scent. The citrus and powder from Knize Ten are not present. I thought the Knize Ten was more of a "complete" scent, if that makes any sense.

I've decided that I have GOT to get the Gold Edition. My only knock against Knize ten is the powdery note in it. Elminate that with the Gold Edition and I am ready to dive into the pool dead middle of winter, fully clothed.
One issue remains. I can't find it. Here are the places I have found the regular Knize available, but no Gold:

No one in the US seems to have the regular Knize Ten in stock right now either. I was looking at German sites to order but shipping seems very high: jebe.de quotes shipping to the US at 20 Euros plus 15% of the order. Manufactum states that shipping will be actual cost of materials plus shipping but doesn't give an estimate of what that would be. Had to register at ausliebezumduft.de to get to the shipping estimate so I didn't bother. Anyone have a good source of Knize products with reasonable shipping to the US?
Lucky Scent should be getting it back in stock relatively soon as I understand it.

I have not found a stateside source for a bottle, but I did see that samples can be found on the Crystal Flacon website in a variety of sizes, and at half the cost of TPC (e.g., $24 for 10mls versus $29 for 5mls).Paypal login....
