I bought 4 of the bars at my supermarket. Has anyone tried this soap and if so, what do you think of it? can it be used on the hair as a shampoo and on the face? It only has 5 natural ingridients. The smell is kinda like ivory in a way. it has a good smell.
I use mine for hand washing at the sink. Since joining B&B, I've switched to bar soaps instead of liquid hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo. I've used Kirk's in the shower, but I haven't tried it as a shampoo. It doesn't lather as well as other bar soaps I've tried. It's very hard so it should last a long time. The short and chemical-free ingredient list is why I bought it. I just wish they had left out the fragrance, but if you like the scent, you should be happy with it.
I'm using dr. Bronners liquid also a castile soap ... mainly because the wife puts it in all the foaming hand soap containers around the house.
probably the same thing in liquid form ... we usually get a quart size cut it with water and lasts quite a while.
It's a great soap. I used a bar as a pre-shave wash for a while. They make a few liquid body washes as well. I have the Rosemary Mint and it is amazing stuff.
