If I want a brutally honest opinion on how the AS smells, I ask my nine-year old. She never fails to disappoint.

"You smell like gummy bears."

My 20-year old son to me after I finish shaving and using Proraso Eucalyptus/Menthol pre/post cream.

"Dad, are you sick.You smell like Vick's Vaporub!"

My wife agreed.

No mo' of that particular proraso....

Maybe it is the color of the bottle? Since, I've been sticking with Harris Bay Rum - a bit sweeter, but she still doesn't approve.

I put a little Clubman original in my 4 year old son's hand, he slapped it on his cheeks and said "I smell like a man!"

My girls have the final say on AS. So far the favorites are (in no particular order): ADP, Razorock AS wax, AV musk, OS classic and Floid blue. My 5 year old picks the AS of the day while she gets ready for school. Oh and 4711 smells like Fruit Loops. I have to admit, I agree with them on that comparison.

My wife always says I smell like Worcestershire Sauce, doesn't matter what I put on. (I think I spelled that right.)

About kids but not about after shave so I hope it is not a hijack statement: When my son was three he called his favorite vegetable 'white broccoli'.

'White broccoli'=Cauliflower.
