Kent Brushes - The search for brushes

I am searching all over the place to find the brush I would love to have and I also added Kent brushes to the list but there is one thing I don't really understand:
Depending on the model names I also found that the hair quality is a bit ambiguous, and I would like some clarification from anyone that knows more about it.

AP4 -AP8 -AP12 : silver-tipped badger brush
BK4 -BK8 -BK12 : silver-tipped badger brush
BLK4 -BLK8 -BLK12 : pure silver-tipped badger brush
H4 -H8 -H12 : best badger

Now the thing is, I find white totally unpleasant for me, black is acceptable, brown/horn is what I would love to have.
But the problem is that the horn H8 seems to be exactly what I would love, but is not silver-tipped, or is it? pure silver-tipped means what?
Also best badger for H models and no silver-tipped?
Anyone can help with this?

Also, I've been considering:

Simpsons
Shavemac
Rooney
Kimson

But from what I can see, is either Kent or Shavemac that will win.

the H8 contains a lower grade hair the the BK8 or BLK8 and will not be as soft as the SILVERTIP.

The BK & BLK Kent brushes are labelled as pure badget show that the knot is made from PURE badger and not a mix or horse/boar etc, it is not a referrence to the grade of hair.

KENT BRUSH FACTS

hi, i have the kent blk12. the extra large. silvertip.
it's amazing. altho probably a little too large for everyday, so i got the shavemac in a 28mm knot.
the kent silvertip has good firmness but great softness at the tips, which actually show 'silvery' glints.
i'd heartily recommend the kent silvertips, as well as the shavemac silvertips.

BK4, 8 & 12 are the same brushes as the BLK 4, 8 and 12 - the only difference s the handle colour with the BLK handles being in black and the BK handles being in white. The silvertip hair in them is the same.

The hair in the H8 is very slightly more prickly than a the silvertip hair used in the BK4, 8 & 12's. I've owned two H8's, one of which had more of a bulb shaped knot than the other (which has more of a fan shape). I found the fan shaped knot to be less prickly than the bulb shaped knot (I'm not clear if this is a function of the shape of the knot or whether it is due to another reason such as the sorting of the hairs in the knot as has been suggested on another forum).

The Best hair used in the H8 feels quite similar in use to the Super Badger grade used in EJ brushes. The H8 handle is also very slightly smaller than the BK8 / BLK8 counterpart.

I also own a BK2 Grey Badger brush and the knot in this brush this doesn't feel that dissimilar in use to the current H8 I have (although the knot is clearly made from a lower grade hair with less density than that of the H8).

I have a BLK4, it was my first brush ever. Came in my starter kit that my friend hand picked out for me.

I truly love it.

Kent's are super nice brushes. They lather creams and hard soaps without issue, which a lot of people find strange, because they are so soft. I've owned bk 4, 8, &12 at some point. I still own the 4. The 8 & 12 are also wonderful cloud like brushes, but if I had to pick a daily shaver between the 8 & 12 I'd go 8. The 4 is also in the mix.

I'd love to see a picture with direct comparing between BK8 or BLK8 and a shavemac silvertip. I searched all day without success.

Thx a lot for for the picture sarimento1.
