Thought I would share some pics of my Kampfe Star set.
I dont have much info on it and would appreciate anything that you can tell me about it. ie: approx date

The tin is in ok condition, although it does have some wear

If you have never seen one in person, the tin boxes are quite small
Here it is in my hand with a blade tin that came with this set

The tin is cool because the top and bottom are both hinged and open, the bottom contains a holder for 2 blades

Those Star razors are works of art, the ornate detail stands in stark contrast to the disposable junk made today. I envy you. Enjoy it!!

Very nice indeed!! I actually like the condition of the case. I´ll rather call it to have patina than to say it´s in ok condition. But that´s just me. Great find. Great pics. Now- tell us how it shaves

Thanks!! It shaves very good, this model will accept a modern SE blade so I use a GEM SS blade with it.
It takes a few shaves to get used to it, the size of the head, the weight (it is quite light) and the head angle take a bit of getting used to, but once you get it dialed in, it really does give a great shave.
