Just passed on a German travel razor at an antique shop...

There weren't any identifying marks on it other than "Germany" written underneath the head. It appeared to be in pretty excellent condition and looked ALOT like the one in the link below. He was selling it for $30 - did I miss out? Or was I correct in thinking it was overpriced? Thanks in advance for your help!

I think $30 is high. I'd prefer to pay $15 - $20. They are nice razors and come with a nice case, but they turn up all the time in pretty good condition.

You might go back to the antique store and make a lower offer if you're really interested.

$30 is way too high. I picked up an 'Optimo' for $10 shipped several years ago, it is one of the breed. Do a quick search on the Bay and you should find several for sale. They are cute little buggers but I was not impressed with the shave I got with mine.
