Just got the 58

So my Simpsons 58 arrived today.
Here it is out of the box and after a washing to get a bit of the funk off (still a bit damp).
I will actually use it either later today or tomorrow.
I previously had the 59 and I liked the look and feel of the handle design as well as the feel of the knot but it was just too big (both handle size and knot). The 58 in the hand feels just right for me and a little dry swooshing on the face feels nice.

And now my den is complete for quite a while.

The display was bought (many a moon ago) and I added a little more detail and the color.

Its a badger. It is the softest brush I have and yet it still has decent backbone. It is listed as a 23/53. Definitely a keeper.

Seeing that 58 makes me pine for the 56 I gave to a friend last year. It was a great brush and the handle design was the most comfortable of any brush I've had. A 57 or 58 just went to the top of my "next brush" list. Thanks for posting those photos.
