"Look what I found"
I pick this razor up early last year with topical age issues.

After thinking about this restore your almost a year, it was time to get to work. Nervously broke it down to get the rust at the pivot and the gunk inside the ivory. The blade got a wet/dry progression up to 1000 grit. Then it got a buffing progression using emery, tripoli and white rouge for final polish. Gave the ivory a gentle wet sanding using 1000 grit and a kiss with white rouge on the wheel to bring it back to life. Broke into a nervous sweat pinning back together, with the results being the finest restore I have compleated.
The reflection in the blade is a chandelier from the ceiling
