Jon Hamm Shaves Three Times a Day for Mad Men

I wonder which razor/soap/brush combo they use? Probably a stright razor shave by a barber i guess.

If they are shaving him 2 - 3 times in a day, my guess is actually that they are using an electric. If he were shaving himself, then maybe a single blade would be more likely, but he wouldn't have to shave 3 times in 12 hours.

When they showed him at the Sox/Cards game last night, he looked like he was ready to shoot an episode of Duck Dynasty rather than Mad Men.

Electric is the most likely suspect. Even a DFS with blades three times a day would give you some substantial razor burn, I'd think.

+3...never thought he looked particularly close shaved....just one of those guys with really fast growing hair

The reason for the frequency is probably because they trim it (electric) to a 5:00 shadow length, and if it gets any longer it looks excessive. So they have to "dial it in" on a long day of shooting because his beard noticeably groww.

I likely wouldn't shave either If I had to be shaved at work three times a day... Most people think of shaving as a chore and now for this guy it is literally work.
