Jolly Pumpkin Autumn Fire Beer

This looks pretty good. Anybody try this?

During the fall season, the beer market gets flooded with pumpkin beers. And the thing is, most of them aren't very good. But the season does call for some variance when it comes to style and Jolly Pumpkin Autumn Fire ($14) is a perfect change of pace. Brewed with chestnuts and spices before aging in oak barrels, the taste is quite the companion for a fall evening, with smooth caramel notes, subtle fall spices, and a touch of tartness. It's quite possibly the best autumn beer that has nothing to do with pumpkins.

Never heard of it, it does sound interesting though. Fall beers lately are starting to sound like a Starbucks menu, nice to see one without pumpkin.

Not to sound like a homer, but Jolly Pumpkin brews some GREAT beer. I'm sure this falls right in line with the rest of their styles - buy with confidence!

Jolly Pumpkin is really good. I just had a bottle of Luciernaga the other night and I've been waiting for the next batch of Madrugada Obscura to come out. This sounds like it would be worth trying too.

I have a bottle that is 2 years old sitting in the closet. I want to let it sit and stew for another year or two and let the bret really work it's magic. Jolly Pumpkin is the brewery that got me into wild beer and has never let me down!

I've had this one. Just like anything else that Jolly Pumpkin does, it was great. Spiced beers normally turn me off, but combined with the sourness and all the other cool things that a wild beer brings to the table, it really works.

I've liked everything I've ever tried from Jolly Pumpkin (they got me into wild beers too!). Wild beers are like the Islay Malts of the beer world. Either you love them or you hate them. Once you get hooked though, there is no turning back!

I agree with everything you have to say 1,000%!
