Japanese iwasaki stropping

Does anyone shave regularly with a japanese Iwasaki straight? Should it be stropped before each use?

If once every couple of weeks is regular than I guess I do use one regularly. I never really thought about NOT stropping with every use of the blade. Simply put, I strop every time and it works for me.

Thanks for your reply and info. Just shaved with Iwasaki for the second time. Stropped first. Will take some getting used to. Learning curve. Great shave though

You must strop every straight before each use. No exceptions.
