The Akatombow definitely needs to go back to the stones. It's getting a bit dull, requiring additional passes to get a what I consider a really good shave. I was afraid to push things for a true CBS, but it's good enough that I put my suit on and I'm heading to court... A great week of shaves, gentlemen, thank you for sharing and for indulging my rather amateurish SOTD contributions!

I was convinced this soap was going to be relegated to shower-soap, as the stability of the lather is really poor.
But as a final test I added 5-10 drops of glycerine today while lathering up, and what a positive difference it made.
If I can get the same result once more, I'm going to keep it for shaving, as the cushioning and glide properties are really good. (I'm just not fond of soaps or creams where I have to add stuff to make it work; they should work right out of the bowl/tub/tube)
