I stopped in an antique shop looking for an old razor or two (what is it about these things? They're like potato chips -- you can't stop at one...) and Found these:

I left some other items, including another GEM, and a curious round razor that looks like it was designed for shaving armpits. (That one was mint, though, in the box. If anyone wants it, I'll go back for it.)
If it helps for pricing purposes, what I paid for these was:
Gold Ever-Ready, filigreed handle, in silver velvet-lined box, quite good condition (somewhere between 3 and 4), with the gold blade box, three original Ever-Ready brand blades plus one Gem-brand blade. $12
Chrome GEM Micromatic, in box, mint. Still has original blades, wrapped, box intact. Even has the little wax paper shipping insert. Not sure of year, but it has the NRA (National Recovery Administration) eagle on the box. $3
Gillette Fatboy. Date code F4. It was soap-scummy, but with soap and water and a toothbrush it cleaned up pretty good. $1
Wade and Butcher Sheffield straight razor. I don't know what possessed me to get this one. It looks worn, but was pretty damned sharp nonetheless, no nicks in the blade. $5
Ever-Ready brush, model 150C. I think the handle is bakelite, which would make it what, from the 1930s? I'm guessing from the stiffness that the bristles are boar. Clean. $5.
I can't tell whether it was a good haul or not. But once he said $1 for the Fatboy, I was in a buying mood.
