For this razor? Is it the right handle as well?

Any help is appreciated. I couldn't find any information about a New Standard razor. I did a couple searches, and checked the wiki and came up with nothing. I know it's a goodwill razor, but I'm not sure if it's the correct handle.

Sorry about the crappy pics, if more are needed I can try again.

You have a Goodwill head on a fluted handle. The razor that belongs in the case is the same as the Bostonian & Richwood.

The razor in that case would be a New Improved type.
Bostonian is when the case says Bostonian and Richwood the same, then in a case of wood.

Thanks for the info everyone. The goodwill head looks like it was never used, and the handle is in similar condition. If there isn't a blade in it, the bottom plate moves around when it is screwed together tight. With a blade in it is get's tight. Is this common to this razor? Or could this be because of the handle?

Because the handle doesn't go with the head, it doesn't surprise me that there's movement. This can be fixed by cutting off the sharp edges of an old blade and using that old blade as a shim. Then when you want to shave with it, place the new blade on top of the old blade shim. You should be able to now use it with no problems.

It only moves around without a blade in it. With a blade in it, it's nice and tight. I shaved with it today, and got DFS in four passes with touch ups. I used an Astra blade, and got better results than I did with one in my krona, but it was still touch and go because of the blade. Astra's just don't work well for me. I'm gonna stick with feathers from now on.
