What's new

is this any good

Date Code? And patents would be helpful.

I just checked Achim's site and he does not show that particular package, so I could only guess as to the date of manufacture (and I'd be wrong). Sometime after 1963. But if they are stainless steel I would guess they would shave much the same as the Gillette Super Stainless, which is to say, pretty good.

Those are one of the earliest packaging formats for Gillette Stainless. They are probably from between 1962 and 1966. They will shave fine. I have tried very early Gillette, Personna (UK made for USA), and Schick (made in Sweden for USA). All shaved fine.

thank you all for your comments, I will try them tomorrow. I have a lot of those ;) a pack has three blades in them. I did shave with a lot of vintage razors, the Gillette blue, got excellent results, Schick also but my favorite vintage is the Waltham I really love those ;)

anyways to share the love the first three that will post here, No PM please will get a pack of those sent for free  lets go

i shaved with mine today :)
seemed smoother than a red pack to me, and more comfortable than a feather.

still not up to snuff with the gem though :)

Coincidentally, I shaved with one this AM, and compared it to the Gillette Super Stainless (The Spoiler). Verdict: They shave exactly the same. Excellent, in other words. Not surprising, since they have to be the same blade, although the markings are different.

Maher, I hope you were able to secure a bunch of these, because this is an excellent blade; far better than the Swede in my opinion.

Oh, and your blades are on the way.
