Is this a coticule or not?

I would agree that appears to be a coti/bbw that came apart. Is that a break in the coticule on the left picture? The right picture is a bit blurry but I can't find the same break... despite it looking far to severe in the left pic to just be a vein.

I think it is a crack on the left picture that doesn't go all the way. Will the stone still be usable if it is a crack? If I should cut it all the way and make 2 stones out of it.
Your best bet would probably be to reglue the coti side upside down and lap the glue residue off and get a hone out of the backside of the coti... but be warned coticule stones are in my experience very friable and even seemingly innocuous cracks will completely break through for no apparent reason when they aren't backed.

Personally it looks like a piece of granite. Please send to me in Liege, I have a granite worktop in the kitchen and can compare the two.

Well good thing I have a granite worktop to.
I still have to find some good epoxy to glue it back together and than make 2 stones out of it. I don't think the smaller one will be big enough to hone on. So that might end up as a slurry stone. (maybe 2)
