Is it nickel or chrome?

I was just curious, is the plating on the Gillette razors nickel? Or is it chrome over nickel?

With the exception of one or two *premium* rhodium plated ones, they're nickel plated.

Aristocrats and other Gold finished Gillette razors are Nickel over base metal, and then Gold over Nickel.
