I have had the great pleasure of trying many types of brushes ranging Boar to Silvertip Badger from various manufacturers and I still always seem to fall back to my Omega 10066 Boar brush. It is the perfect combination of back bone and softestness. Who else here loves the 10066 Brush?
Is anyone else here in love with the Omega 10066 Brush?

This was my first brush and the brush I used for the first two years of DE shaving.
It really is one of the best brushes available. It easily outperforms the overwhelming majority of best and silvertip brushes. The low price just pushes it into the highest tier possible.
This brush still serves as my reminder that price does not determine the quality of a brush. This brush proves that you're just paying for a name with other brands.
I take great care of it and it still looks almost new, but I would not hesitate to repurchase it if it were to break

It's really a great brush. I like it more than my 1305 'cause it's not as bushy. I also have a Duke and a Classic and I think use them instead of the Omega because I spent too much on them not to!
They're all very good though and get the same job done in the end...but if I lost the 66 I'd replace it immediately.

I had a 31064 for a while. Nice brush. BIG brush. I sold all of my boar brushes as they just weren't getting used. If I didn't have a brush and needed one I would defiantly consider the 31064 again

Its cousin, the 80266 (banded boar, not in pics), is a tad softer in the tips but also a tad weaker in the backbone area.

Great to know I'm not the only one! Mine practically gets used everyday!
I had the 10066 and 11575. Both were great but I only needed one boar in my rotation. I ended up including the new 10066 in a PIF so someone could give it the attention it deserves. Omega is always the brush I recommend to new people building a starter kit.
Thats the midget. Big knot for its size...or any size for that matter. I've got to try one of these things!
